The two underage suspects from Aalst, who were arrested in December last year for the stabbing in Berchem in which 16-year-old Steven B. was killed, risk being handed over by the juvenile court. This is reported by Het Nieuwsblad. They could then be tried as adults, possibly by the court of assizes. Dirk De Maerschalck, the lawyer of one of the suspects, confirms that he will oppose the handing over.
