BOLZANO. From Sunday 8 September (03:00) to Monday 9 September (02:00), a 23-hour national strike has been called by railway transport personnel, which will affect Trenitalia, Trenord and Italo trains.

Furthermore, a national 8-hour strike (from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.) of public transport and railway transport personnel has been proclaimed for Monday, September 9th, which will affect Sad trains for 8 hours (from 9:01 a.m. to 5:01 p.m.).

Alto Adige Mobilità informs that delays and cancellations may also occur on long-distance connections and changes to the service are also possible before and after the strike.

Furthermore, Trenitalia regional train connections are not guaranteed on Sundays and holidays. Regarding the strike on Monday, the bus operators Sasa and Simobil confirmed the strike with advance notice.

As a result, cancellations may occur on the journeys managed by these concessionaires. The actual cancellations of trains are indicated a few hours in advance in the timetable search in the app and on the altoadigemobilità website: the journeys are cancelled under the heading “departures” and the trains are no longer available under the heading “connections”.
