“Hraparak” newspaper writes: “Certain departments have already started preparations for New Year’s corporate parties, for this purpose purchases are already being made from the state budget. In this regard, the Yerevan Municipality and administrative district staffs are particularly active. We tried to find out how other departments will celebrate the New Year. The National Assembly reported that the format is not yet clear, but “there will be no surprises”, it will be the same as in previous years.
The HRD staff said that there will be no corporate at the expense of the state budget. It is assumed that they will do it with their own funds. The Anti-Corruption Committee also reported the same. “From the funds allocated to the RA anti-corruption committee from the RA state budget, no expenditure is intended to celebrate the New Year. During this period, if there is a need to make some representative expenses, they will be made in accordance with the law and will be published.”
The CC also replied that they are not planning an event, after 2020 there will be no corporates in the CC, and they will not hold an event in the BC. The Ministry of Health replied: “At the moment, the Ministry of Justice has not signed a contract with any organization to plan a New Year’s event.” In other words, it is not excluded that they will sign the contract and hold the event in the near future. In this regard, the prosecutor’s office is the most secretive, they demanded a written inquiry to our question. Probably, they see something bad in the New Year corporate or they want a written request to be answered after the New Year.”
