With the theme “Culture, Inclusion and Democratization through Art”, the 8th Edition of the Festival of Cultures of the University of International Integration of Afro-Brazil Lusofonia (Unilab) will be held this year. The event takes place in two minutes: from October 23rd to 26th on the Ceará campus and from October 29th to 31st in Malês/Bahia Campus. The selection of art and culture scholarship holders who will work at the festival will be done by the PROEX/UNILAB Notice No. 03/2024prepared by the supervisory board and published this Thursday, 11/09.
85 scholarships (eighty-five) worth R $ 700.00 (thousand reais) will be distributed for the work of the scholarship holders in the sections of individual or collective artistic presentations and, also, in the monitoring of knowledge- a machine that will work in the organization and production of the stages of the Festival.
This notice is open to proposals for participation from students, teachers, taes, external partners and members of the external community. Only undergraduate and postgraduate students, whether in person or distance learning, with active registration in Unilab will have the opportunity to compete for scholarships in accordance with the conditions established in this notice. Other supporters, that is, teachers, taes, outgoing partners and members of the external community, will be able to participate as volunteers and will receive certificates of participation equivalent to 60 hours (sixty ) of extension for their contribution to the event.
Registration must be done using this electronic form (Registration – VIII FESTIVAL OF CULTURE) in the period from 11 to 22/09/2024 and the final result is scheduled to be released on 07/10/2024.
“The Festival of Cultures has reached its eighth edition this year and it is an event that has already become one of our calendar of Unilab activities. The festival is a great time to celebrate art and culture in the university, so we invite the academic community to register and participate”, said Nixon Araújo, art and culture manager at Unilab.
