While football players are waiting for the opening of next season, most of them are spending their time on vacations. Well, unlike the course of the season, where we get quite a few stories and dramas, the break should be a relatively calm period. However, in England they published a particularly delusional story that does not happen every day.
Phil Foden, a Manchester City player, is on holiday with his parents, wife and two children in Greece. While the young star went into a dip in the sea, his wife took his mobile device and started looking at it. When the Englishman came out of the water he noticed her, and the two began to argue loudly in front of the other vacationers on the beach. In fact his partner, Rebecca Cook, did not like what she saw on her cell phone, while Puden did not like the fact that his phone was rummaged through. If you’re wondering how much the argument has reached jarring tones, you’ll probably deduce the answer from the fact that the security guards at the hotel had to evacuate Puden and his wife from the beach.
According to reports, Rebecca shouted at him “Do you think I’m retarded? I do not understand why”. Foden did not respond and there was an awkward silence, which his wife broke when she said “Tell me everything. We can not go anywhere because the same thing always happens.” One of those present at the scene said that the argument was about another woman, with whom she found the conversations with Rebecca on her husband’s phone. “It was a serious quarrel, she shouted and screamed. They were only here for one day, it was really aggressive,” the eyewitness said.
After the heated argument, two security guards from the hotel arrived as mentioned and accompanied Puden and his family out of the beach, with all this unpleasant spectacle taking place before the eyes of the other bathers on the beach, who must have known the English champion from the last two years.
Puden is known as one who is involved in unconventional off-field stories and this is not the first time he has been linked to one scandal or another. Recently, team coach Gareth Southgate suspended him from the roster for a while, as he and his friend Mason Greenwood invited several women to a hotel room while it was banned due to the Corona plague. Another story happened in City’s dramatic 3-2 loss to Tottenham, in the end the Englishman was unable to maintain restraint and ran to the rooster fans who teased him and even hit the face of one of them.
