The amazing cast of “Pulp Fiction” reunited at the opening of the TCM Classic Film Festival, which kicked off with a tribute to the film on its 30th anniversary.
A high-flying reunion. This Thursday, the main players of the Pulp Fiction together on the occasion of the film’s 30th anniversary, commemorating the opening of the TCM Classic Film Festival, reports Deadline.
For the occasion, Uma Thurman, John Travolta, Samuel L. Jackson and Harvey Keitel presented the four, much to the delight of the fans. Other actors who appeared in Quentin Tarantino’s feature film were also present, such as Rosanna Arquette, Eric Stoltz and Julia Sweeney.
A festival dedicated to bloody films
This year’s theme for the festival, which will run until April 21, is “Crime and Justice are Most Wanted in Film”. Therefore the opening was dedicated to Pulp Fiction, and as a round-table introduction of the four main actors. Other major films will be highlighted during the event, for example Chinatown, in cold blood, Inspector Harry or Evening dog.
Released in 1994, Pulp Fiction has marked several generations of filmmakers and established itself as a true reference on the big screen. Quentin Tarantino’s film received the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival the year it was released, and an Oscar for best screenplay the following year.
