Punjab cabinet sworn in tomorrow- Dinamani

The cabinet of the Aam Aadmi Party government headed by Bhagwant Mann is scheduled to take office in the Punjab capital Chandigarh tomorrow.

The Aam Aadmi Party won 92 of the 117 seats in the recently concluded Punjab Assembly elections and came to power for the first time. Following this, Bhagwant Mann was recently sworn in as the Chief Minister of Punjab. Bhagwant Mann was administered the oath of office and secrecy by the Governor of Punjab, Banwar.

It was followed by a special one-day meeting of the Punjab Legislative Assembly yesterday where all the MLAs, including Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, were sworn in as members of the Legislative Assembly. Interim Speaker Inderbir Singh Nijjar administered the oath of office and secrecy.

In this context, the cabinet of the Aam Aadmi Party government headed by Bhagwant Mann is scheduled to take office tomorrow in Chandigarh, the capital of Punjab. At 11 a.m., 10 MLAs are scheduled to receive ministers at the Punjab Civil Secretariat. The ministers will then attend the first cabinet meeting of the Aam Aadmi Party-led Punjab government at 12.30 pm.
