jpnn.com – Bayern Munich successfully eliminated Arsenal in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
In the second leg which took place at the Allianz Arena, Thursday (18/4/2024) early morning WIB, Munich as the host narrowly won 1-0.
Joshua Kimmich’s single goal in the 63rd minute was enough for Munich to book a place in the Champions League semifinals.
The German giants are ahead 3-2 on aggregate over Arsenal after drawing 2-2 in the first leg at Emirates Stadium.
Munich will wait for the winner of the Man City vs Real Madrid match to become their opponent in the last four.
This result is a solace for Munich, which is stumbling in domestic competition.
It was noted that Thomas Tuchel’s fleet had lost the Bundesliga title which fell to Bayer Keverkusen.
