BOLZANO. There is a happy ending in the story of two mistreated dogs. Their own saviors, two young municipal police officers, after having found them and handed them over to the Sill, decided to adopt them. Thanks to the sweetness shown at the moment of the discovery and the feeling in the car journey between the station and the kennel, Martina and Kevin were unable to resist the two little foundlings. A four-legged, or rather eight-legged, Christmas fairy tale, ended in the best possible way.
The first of the two stories has as its protagonist a small black mongrel (in the photo on the right), who belonged to a homeless man. In the throes of alcohol, his previous owner regularly mistreated him, beating him and terrorizing him. At the height of one of the violent episodes, the puppy managed to escape and was found wandering alone by a municipal police patrol. During the period of legal stay at the Sill municipal kennel, Martina, the officer who saved him, went to visit him every day. At the end of the seizure process, he submitted a formal application for successful assignment. A love born spontaneously and crowned by the beautiful gesture of adoption, with which the young rescuer gave the dog a new life. The second protagonist is a dachshund stolen from illegal sellers. Two criminals from abroad kept him in a car park in Oltrisarco for several days, carrying on negotiations with some customers. A lady, suspicious, reported the episode to the municipality, which proceeded to seize the dogs for sale. Once the kidnapping process was completed, the dachshund puppy was entrusted to the officer who intervened to take him away from his captors. Now Kevin and his new four-legged friend are inseparable.
The commander of the municipal police Fabrizio Piras wanted to thank the two officers and with them all the local police operators who are busy patrolling the city territory on a daily basis. In addition to them, the commander’s thanks went to all the staff of the Sill kennel, for the professionalism and availability demonstrated.
