“There is so much fear that if there is a judicial reform, there will be problems with the peso, the peso will be devalued, there will be capital flight, these are pure lies.
“On the contrary, what investors want is a government with moral authority, with political authority, a strong government, supported by citizens, a democratic government, and that is why they trust the country and investment continues to arrive,” said President López Obrador.

He questioned why there are those who allow themselves to be dominated by ideological hatred, by fanaticism, by conservatism, “why be blinded, why not see things as they are.”
In addition, he said, it is very likely that his term will end without a devaluation, which, he said, has not been seen in 50 years.
“Why not celebrate that, as never before, we are putting into practice this universal, humanist, Christian principle, which has to do with all religions and with non-believers, of love for one’s neighbor? Why this bitterness?” said the president.
