“Pushing yourself to sublimate yourself”: at the heart of the meeting between Didier Deschamps and the Olympic coaches

It is just after 6 p.m., on this first Tuesday in October, when Didier Deschamps appears in one of the lounges of the Dream Castle hotel, in Magny-le-Hongre (Seine-et-Marne), where brought together no less than 120 French Olympic and Paralympic coaches. The National Sports Agency (ANS) is continuing its 2024 coaches plan dedicated to the Summer Games. For the record, this program was born in spring 2022 from the wish of Claude Onesta, head of high performance at the ANS, to offer a major role to technicians in charge of athletes deemed eligible for medals.
