Dehradun: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami hoisted the flag at the Chief Minister’s residence on the occasion of 78th Independence Day. On this occasion, he also administered the oath of national unity. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami wished the people of the state a Happy Independence Day. He remembered the great heroes who made the supreme sacrifice for the freedom of the country and the protection of Mother India. The Chief Minister said that commendable work is being done under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take the country forward in accordance with the dreams of the immortal martyrs. CM Dhami said that continuous efforts are being made to connect the youth with employment.
CM Dhami said that today India is moving forward as a capable, harmonious and powerful India. He said that we all have to contribute to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s resolve to develop India. Uttarakhand is making continuous efforts in this direction. In the SDG report released by NITI Aayog, Government of India, Uttarakhand has achieved the first position in the whole country by meeting the criteria of Sustainable Development Goals. Rapid work is being done in every field to make this decade the decade of Uttarakhand.
Flag hoisted at BJP office
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami hoisted the flag at the BJP office on Balveer Road on the occasion of 78th Independence Day. During this, Rajya Sabha MP and BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt, Rajya Sabha MP Naresh Bansal, Lok Sabha MP Mala Rajyalakshmi Shah, General Secretary (Organization) Ajay Kumar, MLA Khajan Das and others were present.
