‘Pushpa’ is the much awaited Allu Arjun movie by the South Indian cinema audience. The news that comes out of the film is very well received by the audience. The first part of the film will be released on December 17. Now, there are reports that the film has grossed Rs 250 crore even before its release.

According to the Times of India, the film has grossed over Rs 250 crore through OTT Rights, Satellite Rights and Audio Video Rights. Earlier, it was reported that Allu Arjun was paid Rs 70 crore for his role in the film.

It was reported that Allu had paid Rs 35 crore for his last film ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramulu’ and had initially demanded the same price in Pushpa’s contract. However, the Telugu media reported that the director had decided to release Pushpa in two parts and that the actor had decided to double his salary.

‘Pushpa’ is also Fahad’s debut Telugu venture. The film will be directed by Sukumar, who made Allu Arjun a superstar in ‘Arya’. The heroine of the movie is Rashmika Mandana. Other important characters are Jagapathi Babu and Prakash Raj.

Allu Arjun arrives as Pushparaja, a blood sandalwood smuggler. Under the banner of Maithri Movie Makers and Muttamsetti Media, Naveen Yerneni and Y. Pushpa is made by Ravi Shankar. Miroslow Kuba Burrows moves the camera for the film. The film is being made at a cost of Rs 250 crore.
