Russian President Vladimir Putin and Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett are holding talks in the Kremlin, TASS reports citing Russian leader Dmitry Peskov’s press secretary.

“The situation around Ukraine is being discussed,” Peskov told reporters. He added that the parties do not plan to make statements to the media following the meeting.

On March 2, Putin and Bennett had a telephone conversation. Then the press service of the Kremlin reported that the leaders of the two countries discussed “the situation around Russia’s special military operation” in Ukraine and Donbass. This telephone conversation between Putin and Bennett was the second since the beginning of the special operation – before that, the leaders communicated on February 27.
