Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko played in a friendly hockey match. They played for one team, which won 18: 7.

The game took place in the ice palace of the Manezh children’s and youth sports school in the suburbs of St. Petersburg. The presidents of the two countries played for the white team. Mr Putin was number 11, the President of Belarus was number 1.
