Deputy Head of Rossotrudnichestvo Yuri Metelev has been relieved of his post since October 8. The decree, signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, has been published on the Internet portal of legal information.

“To release Metelev Yuri Anatolyevich from the post of deputy head of the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, compatriots living abroad and international humanitarian cooperation,” the document says.

Yuri Metelev became Deputy Head of Rossotrudnichestvo in 2018. He was awarded the Order of Friendship, the Medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, II degree, and other state and departmental awards.
