He noted that arrangements were being made for the evacuation of war wounded and physicians from the plant.

19:30: Regional Governor Dmitry Zhivitsky has said that Russian missiles hit two locations near the Russian border in Ukraine’s Sumi region. He said a border guard was injured in the attack.
18:00: The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense says it has destroyed a Russian ship. This time it reportedly destroyed the ship for placing troops and military equipment.
13:00: Rescue workers are trying to evacuate large numbers of civilians who have taken refuge in the tunnels beneath the Mariupol Azovstal plant. Many of those rescued Friday from the Azovstale plant, the UN said. Russian and Ukrainian officials said it had been handed over to representatives of the Council and the International Committee of the Red Cross. The Russian military says 50 people have been evacuated, including 11 children. The evacuation work is expected to continue over the weekend.
