In it, US President Joe Biden compared the current situation with Russian President Vladimir Putin and the time when the world was on the brink of nuclear weapons.
Putin’s threat to use nuclear weapons in response to his defeat in the war in Ukraine is similar to the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962, he said.
And Joe Biden insisted that Russian President Vladimir Putin was “not kidding” about using nuclear weapons in retaliation when the protests in Ukraine escalated.

Putin’s situation is becoming more precarious amid his decision to mobilize 300,000 emergency forces and his misguided views on special operations.
Meanwhile, Ukraine continues to fight in Russia-linked Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporozhye, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces are liberating many neighborhoods in Kherson.
