Putin instructed to work out the issue of paying pensions to the homeless and providing them with medical care

By May 1, the Russian government must submit ideas for registering persons without a fixed place of residence and paying pensions to them

President Vladimir Putin instructed the government to work out proposals for the registration of persons without a fixed place of residence, as well as for the payment of pensions to them and the provision of medical care. This was reported on the Kremlin website.

According to the instruction, the government and executive authorities of the constituent entities of Russia should propose ideas on improving the mechanisms for registering these persons, including on a single portal of state and municipal services, and on exercising their rights to pensions and health care.

In addition, they should make proposals for additional measures to support NGOs that provide social support to the homeless.

Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and top officials of the constituent entities of Russia have been appointed responsible for the implementation of the instructions. They must submit proposals by May 1.
