Putin: Russia has no “bad intentions” towards neighboring countries

President Vladimir Putin advised neighboring countries not to impose restrictions on Russia and not to escalate the situation. According to him, Russia conscientiously fulfills all its obligations.

“I want to emphasize once again that we do not have any, we have always talked about this, there are no bad intentions towards our neighbors. And I would also advise them not to escalate the situation, not to impose any restrictions, we are fulfilling all our obligations and will continue to fulfill them,” Mr. Putin said at the ceremony of raising the state flag on the Marshal Rokossovsky ferry.

Since February 24, a Russian military operation has been underway in Ukraine to “denazify and demilitarize” Ukraine. The West condemned Moscow’s actions and imposed sanctions against it, both economic and personal. In particular, the restrictions affected Russian banks and financial organizations. The blacklists included politicians, businessmen and journalists.
