According to the president, Western countries “under various pretexts, including with the aim of ensuring their own security,” operate “thousands of kilometers” from their territory.
“And when international law and the UN Charter interfere with them, they declare it all outdated and unnecessary. And when something corresponds to their interests, they immediately refer to the norms of international law, the UN Charter, international humanitarian law, and so on. We are tired of these manipulations, ”Putin said.
