Putin’s meeting: Another country invading Ukraine

by time news

As Russian President Vladimir Putin meets with Alexander Lukashenko, known as Europe’s last dictator, fears of a possible Belarusian invasion of Ukraine have been raised.

This fear has been confirmed as Belarusian warplanes have launched an attack on the Ukrainian border.

Ukraine’s defense minister says Belarus has sent warplanes to attack the border, according to Russia’s plan.

He noted that the purpose of the provocation was to force Belarus’s leadership into a war against Ukraine, and accused Russia of seeking to cause a bloodbath.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that Vladimir Putin was meeting with the President of Belarus during the warplane attack.

Alexander Lukashenko is a staunch supporter of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Belarus has been cooperating with Russia since the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991.

Russia is reportedly trying to create a crisis for Ukraine on the Belarusian side as Russian troops stumble to capture the Ukrainian capital.
