PwC expects a decrease in passenger car sales in Russia by the end of 2021

Vedomosti got acquainted with the PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) review of the Russian passenger car market and its development prospects in 2021–2027. According to the document, this year, while maintaining the prevailing market conditions, a slight decrease in sales is expected. In Russia this year 1.47 million passenger cars will be sold, i.e. 1.2% less than last year.

The sales of domestic brands will account for 310,000 units. (-1.3%), for foreign cars assembled in Russia – 919,000 units. (-1.2%), for imports – 239,000 cars (-1.2%), PwC calculated.
