Pyeongtaek City Volunteer Center (Director Son Young-hee) held an appointment ceremony for 34 instructors on the 9th (Thursday) to strengthen the expertise of volunteer instructors and improve the quality of volunteer education activities for citizens.

Starting with this appointment ceremony, the instructors plan to provide various customized volunteer training for the local community and citizens.

The center operates monthly community learning meetings to strengthen the expertise and capabilities of volunteer education instructors. At learning meetings, practical improvement activities are carried out, such as discussing operational plans, developing educational content, and inspecting and providing feedback on education. Through this, instructors will continue to seek ways to improve the quality of education and maximize the effectiveness of volunteer education.

Additionally, quarterly meetings are held to promote exchange and cooperation between educational instructors and focus on improving participation awareness. Through these activities, instructors will grow together with the local community and provide customized volunteer education to citizens so that they can participate in various volunteer activities according to their life cycle.

Meanwhile, on the 9th, the Pyeongtaek Youth Association delivered 2,065,000 won in donations to help neighbors to the Pyeongtaek Happiness Sharing Headquarters at the External Cooperation Office of Pyeongtaek City Hall.

The Pyeongtaek Youth Association, an incorporated association, was established in October 2023 and is located in Anjung-eup, Pyeongtaek-si. This donation was made using the proceeds raised by holding a bazaar with youth members at the end of the year.

Hwang Song-hoon, CEO of the Pyeongtaek Youth Association, said, “I am happy to be able to help our neighbors in need in Pyeongtaek City with the donations raised through the bazaar with our youth members.” He added, “We will continue to show great interest in sharing with the local community in Pyeongtaek City.”
