North Korea has condemned in the strongest possible terms NATO’s joint declaration condemning alleged arms shipments from Pyongyang to its ally Russia, North Korea’s official news agency reported on Saturday.
The agency stated a spokesperson from the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs that “NATO’s announcement is an aggressive program that provokes a new Cold War and global military confrontation and requires a new force and a new method of action against it.”
In a joint statement on the occasion of the organization’s summit, held from Tuesday to Thursday in Washington, NATO heads of state condemned Pyongyang, which they accused of encouraging Russia’s war against Ukraine by providing direct military aid to Moscow.
