Pyramid of Cheops: behind the detection of a new corridor, a French technology

We thought we knew everything, or almost, about the Great Pyramid of Giza, its rooms, its niches, its corridors. The Egyptian monument had obviously not finished revealing its secrets. In 2016 and 2017, the Franco-Egyptian ScanPyramids project revealed the presence of several cavities in the very heart of the building. Among them, a hidden passage, 9 m long, the existence of which images finally came to confirm, at the beginning of this month.
