The draw for the Champions League play-off stage will take place on August 5.
As reported by İdman.biz, the event will start at 14:00 Baku time.
The potential opponent of the Azerbaijani champion “Karabakh” will be known during the draw. Gurban Gurbanov’s team will be in the unseeded basket with “Ludogorets” (the opponent in the third qualifying round).
Among Karabakh’s opponents are three clubs and two pairs that advanced from the previous rounds: Dinamo Zagreb, Crvena Zvezda, Malmo vs. PAOK, Midtjylland vs. Ferencvaros and Young Boys.
Turkish club Galatasaray is also in the unseeded basket, so the champions of Azerbaijan and Turkey cannot meet in the playoffs.
