Qatar acquires Swiss defense systems for World Cup security. 1300 crores are being spent on the security of the World Cup stadiums. Various countries, including the United States, are cooperating with Qatar for World Cup security.

In order to ensure the security of the eight venues where the World Cup matches are held, Qatar has reached an agreement with Switzerland for 162 million dollars and about 1300 crore rupees. Qatar will get the Swiss air defense system. More than 3,000 soldiers and technical experts from Turkey will arrive in Qatar, Romania on security of VIPs coming to watch the match

Qatar will provide training to the military, and an agreement has been reached with the US Department of Homeland Security. Services will be provided in areas such as airport baggage screening, cyber security, and American intelligence agencies will also be in Qatar to ensure the security of the World Cup.
