Doha: Qatar Airways has cut flights to accommodate fans at Hamad International Airport for next month’s football World Cup. Qatar Airways Chief Executive Akbar Al Baker announced that flights from 18 destinations had been withdrawn. He added that the priority now is to accommodate the hundreds of flights landing in the country for the tournament. Hamad International Airport is preparing to welcome the World Cup with around 500 shuttle flights, hundreds of charter flights and private jets per day.
