Doha: Another 4,021 people in Qatar have been confirmed to be covid, the Ministry of Public Health said on Sunday. A further 2,586 people who were undergoing treatment were cured in the country. A total of 2,58,017 people have been diagnosed with the disease so far.
Of the newly confirmed Kovid cases, 3,518 were through contact and 503 were from abroad. Two new deaths have been reported from Kovid, including a baby. A total of 626 people have died of covid in Qatar. A total of 2,99,242 people have been confirmed by Kovid in the country.
Currently, 40,600 people are being treated for Kovid. A further 39,432 Kovid tests were performed. So far, 3,264,723 Kovid tests have been conducted in Qatar. In the last 24 hours, 11 more people have been admitted to the intensive care unit with Kovid infection. Currently, 91 people are in the intensive care unit.
