Dubai: UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum congratulated Qatar for the World Cup. Sheikh Muhammad described the World Cup as a milestone in Arab history.
This is a proud moment for both Qatar and the Gulf. All the countries in the region should support for the success of the World Cup. Sheikh Mohammad also said that he wishes the people of Qatar and the Emir.
Dubai has prepared a huge warm-up to welcome the World Cup. Metro, bus and taxi services have been enhanced as a good percentage of those arriving in Qatar are expected to arrive in Dubai. Dubai is one of the six cities where FIFA’s Fan Fest takes place. More than 100 flights are running from UAE to Qatar every day. The UAE also hosted the training match of the Argentina and Japan teams.
