Qualifications for the 2026 World Cup (4th day/Gr. E): Morocco faces Congo on June 11 in Kinshasa
Rabat – The Moroccan “A” selection will face its counterpart from the Republic of Congo, on June 11 (5:00 p.m.) at the Stade des Martyrs in Kinshasa, in a match counting for the 4th day of qualifying for Group E (Africa zone) of the Cup of the World 2026, indicated the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF).
For the 3rd day, the Atlas Lions will face Zambia on June 7 (8:00 p.m.) at the Grand Stade in Agadir.
The national team won on November 21, traveling against Tanzania with a score of 2 goals to 0 in its only match played so far in these African qualifiers.
Morocco occupies first place in Group E with 3 points, alongside Zambia, Niger and Tanzania, while Congo is 5th with 0 points on its record.
Jointly organized by Mexico, Canada and the United States, the 2026 World Cup will start on June 11 at the Aztec Stadium in Mexico and end on July 19 in New York at MetLife Stadium.
