Qualifying rounds of the Moroccan Dressage, Endurance and Show Jumping Championships kick off in Skhirat
Skhirat – The kick-off of the qualifying rounds of the 8th edition of the Moroccan Championships for young horses, Barb horses and Barb Arabians, and horses born and raised in Morocco “dressage, endurance and show jumping” was given on Tuesday at the Sidi Berni estate in Skhirat.
The first day of the qualifying rounds will feature four dressage events for horses aged 4, 5, 6 and 7. The finals of these events will take place on Wednesday.
As part of these Championships, horses of Moroccan breed or imported into Morocco from a young age will also compete for the title of Champion of Morocco 2023 in the show jumping events.
This event will also include two other competitions aimed at showcasing the Moroccan horse: the Barb and Arab Barb horse championships as well as the championship for horses born and raised in Morocco.
The programme of these Championships also includes endurance events, during which riders will cover between 90 and 120 km in freestyle on horseback in the open countryside.
