London: Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II is buried in the grounds of Winster Castle. Thousands paid tribute to his body.

British Queen Elizabeth II, 96, died of old age on the night of the 8th. His body was taken from Balmoral Castle in Scotland to Westminster Hall in London on the 14th for a public funeral. During today’s funeral procession, the casket containing the Queen’s body was carried in a cannon carriage by sailors from the Royal Navy. Queen’s crown and scepter were placed on it.

It was taken through the historic areas of the City of London to Wellington Arch near Buckingham Palace. Along with it went King Charles, Princes William and Harry. Finally the Queen’s body was taken to St George’s Chapel. World leaders including Indian President Draupadi Murmu, US President Joe Biden, French President Emmanuel Macron and more than 2000 people paid their respects in the church. An event was held where world leaders paid their last respects to the body of Queen Elizabeth II.
After prayers in the church, the coffin containing the Queen’s body was carried in full royal honors to Winster Castle, known as the ‘Royal Vault’. Along the road, people paid their respects to the body of the queen. Then the Big Wen bell chimed every minute. Following this, Queen Elizabeth’s body was brought to the Winster Castle complex at 8:45 PM IST. Queen Elizabeth II was buried in the burial chamber there. It is noteworthy that the Queen’s late husband, Philip, was also buried in the same complex last year.
