Queen Letizia’s dress with a pink and white print was an eye-catcher a year ago. This time she paired it with pink pumps and sparkly earrings.
During a public appearance, Queen Letizia chose an outfit that she has not worn for the first time. King Felipe’s wife is known for her fashion recycling. She proved this once again at an appointment on Wednesday in the Andalusian city of Cádiz: At the award ceremony for artists and cultural workers, she wore a dress with a pink and white terrazzo print from the Lady Pipa brand. It was obviously chosen to match her husband’s tie. Felipe wore a classic dark pinstripe suit with a white shirt and white and pink polka dot tie for the occasion.
According to Magas, the women’s magazine of the newspaper El Español, she wore the same dress a year ago to a literary prize luncheon at the Royal Palace in Madrid. Back then, however, she would have combined different accessories with her look than this time.

In Cádiz, Letizia wore pink pumps from Magrit and a white handbag from the Italian brand Furla with the chic midi dress. Sparkling ruby, emerald and moonstone drop earrings and a ring on her finger completed the outfit. The first time she wore the dress, she paired it with slingback pumps from Carolina Herrera in fuchsia and simple pearl earrings.
The Spanish queen is known to regularly recycle and restyle outfits, including decades-old vintage pieces from her mother-in-law, Queen Sofia’s, wardrobe. The 51-year-old sometimes wears items of clothing four or five times.
She last appeared at an appearance in the Spanish city of Gandia in mid-March in a pink pants suit from Hugo Boss, which she had already worn at an appointment in Madrid in September 2023.
