BANGKOK: Thai police are investigating a mysterious incident in which an unidentified German woman boarded an ambulance carrying the body of the late Australian cricket legend Shane Warne.

The German woman was repeatedly questioned by police. The woman boarded an ambulance as Vaughn’s body was being transported from a hospital on Koh Samui Island to the city of Surat. The incident took place when the ambulance carrying the body stopped to board the boat. The German woman approached the ambulance with a friend from Thailand with a basket of flowers. The video of the young woman talking to the officer and the ambulance driver who was near the ambulance was released.
