Colón Pico’s daughter-in-law was arrested in San Roque and had an arrest warrant. Find out who she is and the crime she allegedly committed.
Her name is Yajaira V., and she is 19 years old. On July 9, 2024, she was arrested during an operation in San Roque, in the center of Quito. When checking her information, the Police learned two things: that she is the daughter-in-law of Fabricio Colón Pico and that she had an arrest warrant for crimes related to the possession and trafficking of substances (drugs).
According to the National Police, before this arrest, the young woman was evading justice because she was a minor.
Colon Pico is serving his sentence in La Roca
Fabricio Colón Pico is identified as the leader of The Wolves in Quito. He would manage the micro-trafficking business and a network of hitmen.
Since April 2024 he has been serving a prison sentence in the maximum security prison La Roca, after being recaptured after escaping from a Riobamba prison. It has been pointed out by the fiscal Diana Salazar as one of the men who planned to kill her and the author of a video where they threaten the Prosecutor and her daughter.
The family “business” is also added Ana Maria Pico, Fabricio Colón Pico’s sister. The name of the 40-year-old woman came to light during Pico’s recapture on April 22, 2024.
Ana María Pico has five criminal records and has been identified by the National Police as a member of Los Lobos. It is known that she commits crimes together with her brother and other relatives.
Between 2019 and 2023, Ana María Pico was linked to the crime of organized crime.
After being arrested along with her brother on April 23, 2024, the judge ordered preventive detention for tillicit trafficking in firearms.
