Quran burning incident; Kuwait Co-Op Society supermarkets boycott Swedish products

Kuwait City: Cooperatives in Kuwait have announced a boycott of Swedish products after a terrorist burned a copy of the Holy Quran in front of the Turkish Embassy building in the Swedish capital Stockholm.

Co-op societies in Qarnatah, Al-Khalidiya and Hadiya have announced the start of a comprehensive campaign to boycott goods from Sweden.

“We should not be complacent in protecting our Islamic sanctity and victory for the Book of Almighty God,” the co-operative group said.
