Rabat: Closing of the Official Show Jumping Competition for Young Horses of the Royal Guard

Rabat – Rabat – The events of the official show jumping competition for young horses organized by the Royal Guard, under the high patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces and under the aegis of the Royal Moroccan Federation of Equestrian Sports, ended on Wednesday.

In the “Young Horses 7 years old” event, Lieutenant Colonel Adil Azzi of the Royal Guard, riding “Holann Du Vimage” had the last word, after a decisive jump-off which he completed in 42.59 with 4 penalty points.

5 pairs among the 10 starters were ranked first, ex-aequo, in the “Young Horses 4 years old” event.

In the “Young horses 5 years old” event, the lead in the ranking was shared by 8 couples among the 13 who took part.

Four couples among the 7 starters took the lead in the “Young horses 6 years old” event.

In the “Born and Raised” event, victory went to 3 couples, ex-aequo, among the 17 starters.

Held on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Hassan II quarry in Méchouar in Rabat, this event included 10 show jumping events. It brought together eminent riders belonging to the various national equestrian clubs affiliated to the Royal Moroccan Federation of Equestrian Sports.
