Initiated in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication and the Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS) in the United Arab Emirates and the Arab League, this meeting aims to highlight the efforts made at the Arab and international levels in the field of security media, to strengthen the skills of Arab executives in this area and to share national experiences in this regard.
This seminar is part of the follow-up to the implementation of the ninth Arab media plan for awareness and prevention of crime as well as the recommendations of the Arab Council of Ministers resulting from this media plan, according to the organizers.
The conference is structured around several themes, including “Media/education partnership in building the knowledge society and supporting sustainable development”, “Ethical framework for freedom of expression in Arab and international media laws and conventions”, “Importance of media education in addressing media, intellectual and security challenges” and “Artificial intelligence and the future of media education”.
Participants in the meeting will also discuss “Pioneering Arab and International Experiences in Promoting Media Education”, “The Basics of Responsible Use of Media, Social Networks and Information Sources” and “Integrating Media Education into Arab School Curricula”.
This event will be marked by the participation of experts in security and media education, including government officials, researchers, journalists and academics with a view to exchanging experiences and good practices.
