Rabat: Partnership agreement to support Research and Development in the field of digital transformation
Rabat – The Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform and the Foundation for Research, Development and Innovation in Science and Engineering (FRDISI) signed, Friday in Rabat, a partnership agreement aimed at supporting Research and Development in the field of digital transformation.
This agreement was signed by the Minister Delegate for Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, Ms. Ghita Mezzour, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of FRDISI, Mr. André Azoulay, according to a press release from the ministry.
Under this agreement, 18 doctoral thesis projects in the digital fields will be supported by a monthly grant of 7,000 dirhams, in addition to providing support and guidance over a period of 3 years, adds the same source.
This agreement is part of the ongoing support of the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform for young skills and talents in the areas of digitalization and new technologies, and this within the framework of a participatory approach with the various stakeholders, it is specified.
It is also about “contributing to strengthening the integration of our youth in the professions of the future, while encouraging them to innovate, in accordance with the vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, who called for the training of a sufficient number of qualified and specialized human resources in the digital field and the rooting of this culture within the different sections of society”, the press release concludes.
