Rabbi Haim Druckman’s family: Despite the difficult situation, they believe in salvation

by time news

Rabbi Druckman’s family would like to thank from the bottom of their hearts the staff of the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital, the hospital’s management and the dedicated staff in the Internal Intensive Care Unit, for their dedication and care for the Rabbi, and for their supportive and caring attitude towards the entire family.

In addition, we thank the people of Israel for the prayers, which are obviously helping, and ask to continue praying for the healing of Rabbi Haim Meir ben Milka.

Last night we were called to the hospital. We stood around the rabbi’s bed, we prayed, we sang and we saw before our eyes how various indicators stabilized as the rabbi bravely faced an extremely difficult situation. After a day of being almost unconscious, the rabbi even opened his eyes for a certain time and responded to our questions by moving his head and hands, which he repeated even when the doctor came in early in the morning.

Despite the difficult situation, we believe and expect salvation. The stabilization of the medical condition and the slight improvement from yesterday when it already seemed that there was no chance, the prayers and support from the entire people of Israel, the dedication and professionalism of the staff at the hospital – give us strength, and we are sure that the rabbi will too.

Tonight at 20:30 there will be a mass prayer at the Western Wall. The public is asked to join, and continue to pray for the healing of Rabbi Chaim Meir ben Milka among the rest of the sick of his people Israel.
