mThe new video song from the film ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ directed by Niratnam is out. The makers have released the song ‘Rachasa Mamanai’ which won applause in the theatres. The song is composed by AR Rahman and sung by Shreya Ghoshal. Written by Kabilan.
The song features the character of Kundavai played by Trisha and ‘Vantiyathevan’ by Karthi. The lyric video of this song caught attention as soon as it was released. Trisha played the role of the daughter of Sundara Cholan in the film.
Meanwhile, Ponniyin Selvan has been doing brilliantly at the box office since the day of its release. According to the estimate till two days ago, the global gross collection of the film is more than 450 crores. Last week, the film entered the 400 crore club. Trade analysts estimate that the film will reach the 500 crore club by the end of this week. Kamal Haasan also played Vikram in the lead role and Mani Ratnam left behind the film. With this, Ponniyin Selvan has also acquired the reputation of being the highest box office collection film of all time in Tamil Nadu.
Ponniyin Selvan is based on the world famous historical novel by legendary writer Kalki. The star-studded film was released in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Kannada languages.
