In the opening duel of round nine of the BPI League, Racing Power received and beat Clube de Albergaria 3-0, confirming their good home record. The home team was only defeated once when they were at home – against SC Braga – and once again demonstrated their ability to keep their score to zero.

In a cold first half with no major scoring opportunities, Racing Power entered the second half positively and scored three times, scoring the first goal.

Jenny Vetter, Mercy Idoko and Kala McDaniel scored the goals that earned three points, in a second half of great quality from the team led by João Marques.
