The story of covid radar comes to an end. Except for a surprising turn of events, the Spanish coronavirus tracking application, the one that, at some point, aspired to become a differential tool in the fight against the pandemic, will no longer receive support from next November, when the contract with the Spanish technology Indra, in charge of its creation and maintenance for more than two years, expires.

Sources from the Secretary of State for Digitization and Artificial Intelligence (Sedia), the institution in charge of the application, explain to ABC that “There are no plans” to extend the agreement and continue investing in an ‘app’ that never took off and that, throughout its life, has had a completely residual use.
