As part of the Régie’s strategy aimed at generalizing access to water, electricity and liquid sanitation services and in response to the needs and requirements of citizens, RADEEJ is continuing its efforts to successfully complete projects to equip under-equipped neighborhoods and douars with a liquid sanitation network, the Régie emphasizes in a press release.
In this context and after connecting the Laâtatra center, in the province of Sidi Bennour, to the drinking water network and feeling the positive interaction of the inhabitants who expressed their satisfaction with the services of the Authority, adds the same source, that RADEEJ continued these works of connecting the said center, this time to the liquid sanitation network.
The implementation of this project, to which a budget of approximately 10 million dirhams was allocated, was planned in two phases, the first concerns the connection of the districts and alleys of the Laâtatra center to the main liquid sanitation network, through the construction of approximately 10 km of pipes with a diameter between 400 and 800mm, explains RADEEJ, noting that the second phase of the project aims to connect approximately 670 houses to the same network.
The wastewater that will be collected from the constructed network will be sent through the pumping station to the treatment plant, the statement said, noting that this project will contribute to strengthening the region’s infrastructure, reducing the negative effects of wastewater on the environment and improving living conditions.
