Prabhas’ ‘Rade Shyam’

Prabhas and Pooja Hegde starrer ‘Rathe Shyam’ directed by Radha Krishna Kumar. Each song was composed by separate composers for this love story based film. Released pan India in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam, the film was made at a cost of 300 crores. However, the film grossed only half of that and was a huge loss.

Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Shamshera’

Directed by Karan Malhotra, ‘Shamshera’ features Ranbir Kapoor in two roles. Produced by Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Films, the film starred Sanjay Dutt, Vaani Kapoor and Ronit Roy. Released on a pan-India budget of Rs 150 crore, the film was a huge flop earning only Rs 60 crore.

Akshay Kumar’s ‘Samrat Prithviraj’

Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Samrad Prithviraj’ directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi. Based on history, the film was released pan India and was made on a budget of Rs.200 crores. But the film was a huge failure earning only half of the total budget.

Aamir Khan’s ‘Lal Singh Satta’

Aamir Khan starrer ‘Lal Singh Sadha’ is an official adaptation of the Hollywood classic ‘Forest Gump’. Despite positive reviews for the film, the film suffered huge losses due to the hashtag ‘Boygat Lal Singh Satta’. It is said that Aamir Khan did not even get paid for acting in the film. It is said that the film, which was made at a cost of Rs.180 crores, has collected only Rs.120 crores.

Vijay Deverakonda’s ‘Liger’

‘Liger’ is directed by Puri Jagannath and stars Vijay Devarakonda. The film was released pan India and featured Ananya Pandey, Mike Tyson, Ramyakrishnan and others. The sports drama style film met with negative reviews on its first day of release. With a budget of Rs.150 crores, the film has collected only Rs.60 crores so far and suffered a loss.
