‘Radeshyam’ is a five language film directed by Radhakrishna Kumar and starring Prabhas, Pooja Hegde and others. Named as Pan-India Star in ‘Bhagupali’, Prabhas made his Hindi debut with ‘Saho’. In other languages the image slipped strongly.
It has been reported that ‘Radheshyam’ was made with a budget of around Rs 300 crore. The theater business was worth Rs 200 crore. In Hindi alone, the revenue was expected to cross Rs 100 crore. However, the film is struggling to cross the 25 crore mark.
A week ago, the production company officially announced that the film had grossed over Rs 150 crore. No collection details have been released since then. Nothing about the film has been posted for the past four days.
According to Tollywood sources, the film is expected to gross over Rs 200 crore. It is said that more than Rs 100 crore will be lost through this film. The business of Prabhas’ next upcoming Pan-India film is also likely to be affected by the impact of the film’s collection.
