Radhika Sarathkumar: Maria Miller, MP, UK, on behalf of Tamil Studies UK, presented awards to women who have achieved in various fields around the world.
Radhika, the daughter of MR Radha and the wife of actor Sarathkumar, has been acting in Tamil cinema for over 40 years. Radhika, who made her debut as a heroine in cinema with Parathiraja, became famous by pairing up with leading actors like Rajini, Kamal and Prabhu in the first innings.
In her second innings, Radhika, who has been mixing character roles, has been acting in films like Vijay, Sivakarthikeyan, Vijay Sethupathi, Simbu and Vikram. Radhika, who has emerged as a successful actress not only in cinema but also on the big screen, also runs a production company.
The event was organized by Maria Miller, MP from the United Kingdom on behalf of Tamil Studies UK. Actress Radhika has also been given the award.
