Eighteen months ago, the father of radio DJ Frank van der Lende passed away. His father contracted Alzheimer’s at a young age. Until his father became ill, Frank knew little about the course of Alzheimer’s. He thinks that should be improved, which is why he has now become an ambassador for ‘Eye for dementia’; a campaign that calls for more attention for people with advanced dementia.
